Useful Information For Beginners:

  • Should I Learn Electric Guitar or Acoustic Guitar?

This is a great question and it really does come down to personal preference. Both types of guitars offer many affordable pricing options, electric guitars will require an amplifier in order to hear what is being played. For more information read the information provided here in this link.

  • Choosing Your First Guitar:

The guitar is a great instrument to learn, it is very popular and there are many different types of guitars around. If you are a beginner it can be hard to know which guitar is best for you, read this link to help you choose your first guitar.

  • What Age is Best to Start Learning the Guitar?

A lot of the time this depends on the type of person, the guitar often requires large hand stretches and certain types of guitars can require a bit of strength in the hands to be able to  hold down strings to play notes and chords. Quite often young children struggle with this as it is a bit more of a learning curve for them, this is why I usually start teaching kids from around the age of 10 and above.

There is no real best age to start learning and it also does not matter how old you are either. You may have heard the myth that you must be young to learn to play an instrument, this is simply not true so don’t let age hold you back.
